Starting at age 11, Kerrie has been ensconced in music most of her life. Beginning in Church singing with her sisters in country South Australia, Kerrie spent her formative years performing around South Australia.

Moving to Adelaide in 1991 Kerrie went on to sing with many bands including well known cover bands the Velvet Soap Opera Company and The Soul Commitments.

Performing as both a lead and backing vocalist, Kerrie has toured much of Australia from festivals to nightclubs and all in between.

Working with Pete on many projects and independently Kerrie has assisted many artists with vocal coaching, harmonies and song writing sessions and has provided vocals on over 10 CD’s/projects.

With her parents marriage breakdown at a young age Kerrie found solace in poetry and written thoughts and has been writing ever since. Performing her first original works in 1990 Kerrie continued to hone her song writing skills and gather musicians releasing her debut CD “This Life” in 2001, following her 10 years of life and writing.

Having performed her new compositions live for the past 3 years, Kerrie is now joining with husband Pete forming acoustic pop/rock duo “Rust Flower”. Recording their debut CD in March 2006, “Rust Flower” are looking forward to ‘getting on the road’ and performing their songs (see “Originals - Rust Flower” page on this website).

Following on from this Kerrie will record her follow-up solo CD in late 2007.
