Formed in 1997 by Peter Arthur, Stamp Music is all about encouraging creativity and personal growth through the expression of song writing.

Sure, this may sound esoteric, but during his time as both a youth worker and a children’s entertainer, Pete saw the results of music in the lives of individuals, schools and communities.

Pete has developed his own model and style of workshops, but is not tied in to a mould, allowing the creative process to develop to suit the needs and the outcomes of the individual, school or community group.

Over the past 9 years, Pete has run 100’s of workshops in schools, facilitated AusMusic Industry Skills courses, CD projects for councils, run a Work for the Dole project and more (see below highlights).

Each individual is unique and therefore every song written is unique and the process of giving of yourself to create and record is where many children come alive and find a part of themselves they didn’t know existed. Seeing the awakening of their spirit is why Pete offers these workshops.

If you look around, music is everywhere in all forms and styles. The creation of this art form is different for every song writer, composer and musician, but all experience the freedom of expression, passion and vulnerability from exposing their thoughts and ideas. It’s an adrenaline rush like no other and it is this Stamp Music wish to offer to you, your students and your community.

Involving other musician and artists along the way, Pete draws together a community of people to encourage their art and give the best possible experience to participants.
